W.T. Barker was founded by William T. Barker to provide regional homeowners an alternative to the monotony of today’s run-of-the-mill home designs. Barker, a veteran of the real estate sales, property management, and residential development industries, recogn...ized that a custom home building and creative renovation business was the most logical evolution for his expertise. Holding a North Carolina real estate license since 1979, Barker spent a number of years in sales and multi-family property development before branching into other facets of building development, such as commercial construction and fit-ups, and rental property management.
